I noticed my CPU was pegging at 50% all the time. It was the SearchIndexer.exe. I tried to turn it off. It'd fire back up. SO...I called Dell tech support and the guy finally figured out that somehow the indexing feature was turned on for my backup hard disk. Turning that off fixed the problem.
